Shipping and Delivery Policy for Courier Logistics Company

1. Shipping Methods and Services

Available Services:

Standard Shipping: A cost-effective option with a typical delivery time of 5-7 business days.

Express Shipping: A faster service, delivering packages within 1-2 business days for domestic deliveries, depending on the location.

International Shipping: Delivery to destinations outside the country, with typical transit times of 7-14 business days, depending on the destination.

Next-Day Delivery: Available for urgent deliveries, ensuring packages arrive on the next business day.

Scheduled Delivery: For shipments that require specific delivery times (e.g., delivery during business hours or on a specific date).

Shipping Areas:

Domestic: Available to all areas within the country, including rural and remote locations.International: Available to over 200 countries and territories worldwide. Certain regions or countries may have restrictions or require additional customs paperwork.

 

2. Shipping Charges

Shipping Fees:

The shipping cost depends on the service type (Standard, Express, etc.), package weight, dimensions, and delivery destination.

Fees are calculated at the time of booking and displayed before payment is made. Some services may include free shipping for orders over a certain amount.

Additional Charges:

Fuel Surcharge: Some deliveries may incur an additional charge due to fluctuating fuel prices.

Delivery Delays:

We are not responsible for delays caused by external factors, such as severe weather, natural disasters, customs processing, or government-imposed restrictions.

In case of a delay beyond the guaranteed delivery time for certain services (e.g., Express), customers may be eligible for a refund.

 

4. Packaging and Labeling

     

      • Packaging:

           

            • It is the sender’s responsibility to ensure that all items are securely packaged to avoid damage during transit. We recommend using appropriate packaging materials, such as bubble wrap, sturdy boxes, and packing peanuts, for fragile items.

        • Labeling:

             

              • Correct labeling is essential to ensure timely delivery. This includes providing accurate recipient details, including the name, address, contact number, and any additional instructions.

        5. Delivery Process

        Tracking:

        All shipments come with tracking, which allows both the sender and recipient to monitor the status of the package online in real-time.

        Delivery Attempts:

        Domestic: Our courier will attempt to deliver the package to the recipient’s address. If the recipient is unavailable, a delivery notice will be left, and a second attempt will be made on the next business day.

        International: Multiple attempts may be made, depending on the destination country’s customs and postal policies. If delivery fails, the recipient may be required to pick up the package from a local facility.

        Signature Requirement:

        Certain services (e.g., Express or Next-Day) may require a signature upon delivery. If the recipient is not available to sign for the package, a notice will be left, and the recipient will be given instructions on how to reschedule delivery or pick up the package from a local branch.

         

        6. Restricted Items

        Prohibited Goods:

        Certain items cannot be shipped, including but not limited to:

        Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, or corrosive items)

        7. Claims for Lost or Damaged Goods

        Lost Shipments:If a package is lost in transit, we will investigate the situation. Claims for lost items must be filed within a certain period (e.g., 30 days for domestic, 60 days for international shipments).

        Once the claim is approved, a refund or replacement may be issued, depending on the shipping service and terms.

        Damaged Goods: If a package is damaged during transit, the recipient or sender must report the damage within a specific time frame (e.g., 7 days after delivery).

        The customer will be required to submit supporting documentation, including photos of the damaged goods and packaging, before a claim is processed.

        8. Delivery Restrictions

        Address Restrictions: We are unable to deliver to certain locations such as P.O. boxes, military addresses (unless specified), or other restricted areas. In these cases, the sender will be notified, and an alternative delivery address will be required.

        Weather and Other Delays: Weather conditions, national holidays, customs inspections, and unforeseen events (such as strikes or natural disasters) may delay delivery. Customers will be notified if there are significant delays affecting their shipment.

        9. Customer Responsibilities

        Accurate Information: The sender is responsible for ensuring that all shipping details (address, recipient contact info, etc.) are accurate. Any incorrect information may result in delivery delays, additional charges, or non-delivery.

        Availability: Recipients must be available to accept packages. If the recipient is unavailable, the package may be held at a local facility for pickup.
